SchahlLED, a leading turnkey provider of intelligent LED solutions for primarily industrial applications in the DACH region, based in Unterscheißheim, Bavaria, and betterLeds, a specialised LED distributor and project developer, based in Weyhe, Lower Saxony, will join forces.

The parties have reached and an agreement according to which betterLeds will become part of SchahlLED as of 03 June 2021 and will in future expand sales and customer support primarily in Northern Germany as Sales Hub North.

Strategic rationale 

SchahlLED is pursuing an ambitious growth strategy, which envisages the significant expansion of sales in all regions of Germany. For this purpose, regional sales hubs will be established through acquisitions or organically to be even closer to existing and new customers in the future. With betterLeds, SchahlLED has the ideal partner in Northern Germany, with whom many joint projects have already been realised in the past. betterLeds will continue the existing product portfolio and expand the distribution of intelligent SchahlLED systems in the future. Together, both companies plan to increase sales in the region significantly.

Joined way forward

The managing directors Bernd von Doering and Erich Obermeier of SchahlLED and the managing director of betterLeds and future head of the Sales Hub North, Roman Tepperwien, are excited about the joint future.
